I know what it’s like to believe in your business with everything you have and still not have the resources to support it the way it deserves. As a small business owner running a coffee shop, I couldn’t afford a marketing team. Every dollar mattered. So instead of giving up, I chose to learn. I took marketing into my own hands and committed myself to understanding how businesses truly grow. I went back to school, earning my Bachelor’s degree in Psychology with a Minor in Non-profit management, and later completed a Digital Marketing Certification at SMU. I wanted to understand people, how they think, how they feel, how they decide, and why they choose one brand over another. That journey changed everything. Marketing became more than promotion. It became the powerful intersection of strategy, psychology, and creativity. I learned that behind every storefront, nonprofit, or service, no matter how big or small, marketing is what keeps the doors open, the mission alive, and the dream moving forward. After years of professional work in marketing, I launched Kickstart Marketing Lab Foundation with one belief at its core. Small businesses and nonprofits don’t just deserve to survive. They deserve a fighting chance. In a world dominated by Goliaths, too many incredible ideas fail simply because they lack access to resources, education, or support. Kickstart exists to change that. My purpose is to stand beside small businesses and underfunded nonprofits, offering education, hands-on marketing support, and true partnership. This is about empowering people, strengthening communities, and making sure good work doesn’t go unseen. Because when small businesses grow, communities thrive and that is a mission worth fighting for.
