ABOUT US
Kickstart Marketing Lab Foundation is a 501(c)(3) nonprofit organization dedicated to expanding access to marketing education, strategy, and support for small businesses and nonprofit organizations at free or subsidized rates. Through consulting, fractional marketing support, live classes and webinars, and educational resources, we help organizations strengthen their visibility, communication, and long-term sustainability.
In addition to serving businesses and nonprofits, Kickstart operates a separate workforce development program that provides supervised, hands-on internships for emerging marketers. These internships focus on education, skill-building, and real-world experience, helping individuals develop career pathways while supporting the Foundation’s mission and programs.

Kickstart Marketing Lab Foundation’s mission is to expand access to marketing education, strategy, and support for small businesses and nonprofit organizations by closing the gap created by cost and gatekeeping. We believe visibility should not be limited by budget, and that access to marketing should be equitable and attainable. Through free or subsidized programs, along with a dedicated internship-based workforce development program that provides supervised, hands-on, real-world experience, Kickstart works to level the playing field for both organizations and emerging marketers.

WHO WE SERVE
Underfunded and Overlooked Organizations
Many of the organizations we work with are under-resourced or excluded from traditional marketing support due to cost barriers. Kickstart provides free and subsidized marketing education and hands-on assistance to ensure access to growth opportunities is not limited by budget.
Small Businesses
We serve small business owners who know their product or service is valuable but may not have the budget, time, or expertise to build an effective marketing strategy on their own. This includes early-stage businesses, locally owned companies, and entrepreneurs who are doing everything themselves and need guidance, structure, and support to grow sustainably.
Nonprofit Organizations
We support nonprofit organizations that are focused on impact but often lack dedicated marketing staff or funding for professional services. We help nonprofits clarify their message, increase visibility, strengthen community trust, and communicate their mission effectively to donors, partners, and the communities they serve.
Emerging Marketers and Interns
Through our workforce development model, we also serve emerging marketers and students by providing real-world learning opportunities. Participants gain hands-on experience while supporting small businesses and nonprofits, helping build practical skills and career pathways in marketing and communications.

Naimah Hamid (Nana)
Founder & Board Member
Nana is a marketing strategist and former small business owner with hands-on experience in digital marketing, strategy, brand building, and business operations. As the founder of Kickstart Marketing Lab Foundation, she brings real-world insight, a strong commitment to education and transparency, and a focus on building sustainable systems that help organizations grow long-term.
Angelica Oyervidez
Board Member
Angelica is a creative professional with over 10 years of experience in sales, marketing, and customer engagement. With a background in the arts and fluency in English and Spanish, she brings strong expertise in community outreach, relationship-building, and brand visibility to support Kickstart Marketing Lab Foundation’s mission of accessibility and connection.
Board Member
Nev brings experience in marketing, business development, and partnership management, with a strong background in strategic relationships and program coordination. Her organizational skills, operational experience, and collaborative approach support Kickstart Marketing Lab Foundation’s mission of sustainable growth and responsible operations.
